A Reprieve

It still feels like summer here, which equates to one word: HOT.

Sigh.

I've lived in Texas the vast majority of my life, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. But I still hate it nonetheless; the looooong awaited, looming transition between our never-ending summer to the much anticipated cooler temps.

But thankfully Texas granted me a little gift this past weekend for patiently enduring the summer heat thus far: Temps in the 80s, y'all! Holla! Now granted that isn't exactly fall friendly weather, but it is much better than those darn triple digits. Of course the morning and evening hours were a bit cooler, but I pretended it was fall all day and wore this... even though I was too hot most of the day.

And guess what?! Texas wants to keep this reprieve going because we are due for temps in the 80s, and-dare-I-even-say-it-because-I-can't-believe-it's-going-to-be-true, 70s! Oh the wardrobe possibilities are endless! Now if we could just get those temperatures to stay.

PS: This is also a little preview into a Style That Item feature focused on my polkadot loafers that'll be posting on Monday!
